Webflow is a great tool, and I say that as someone who builds in code. If you have a designer on your team who knows it, or a marketing person who will edit the CMS every week, it is a strong choice. It also fits companies that want an agency to build in a tool they can take over later. For a small local business, the learning curve and the monthly fee are the reasons I usually build in code instead.

Yes, for design and code quality, by a wide margin. It is also much harder to learn. Wix is for owners who want to build it themselves this weekend. Webflow is for designers.
Webflow or a custom coded site?
They end up in a similar place. The differences are the monthly Webflow fee, the parts that do not export, and the tool sitting between you and the code. I build in code because the site is lighter, fully yours, and I can fix anything without waiting on a platform.
Can I still edit a custom site myself?
